Early Pastoralist Societies
Early human civilization started to develop into one of the most stable easiest forms of society, the pastoralist way of life. In this society life is extremely stable but depends heavily on the environment. Pastoralist societies tend to pop up around large flat grasslands that do not allow for large scale farming. Pastoralist societies focus heavily on transportation to follow the herds of animals that are the life-blood of their civilizations. As a result Pastoralist civilizations developed large flexible modes of transportation of mainly horses. The weapons developed by these people was extremely lightweight and mobile to be able to fired and used from horseback. Pastoralist militaries were feared because of their swift and savage tactics that could wipe out entire infantry based armies in hours.
